She is a Master of Law graduate from the University of Indonesia. In 2001, she joined Grant Thornton, which later became Moores Rowland and now Mazars, as Head of Legal Department, later establishing the law firm Mabel and Associates, which is associated with Mazars in Indonesia. In managing the law firm, Meggy has been successful in leading it to become one of the most reputable law firms in Jakarta. Having herself majored in corporate and foreign investment laws, she and her team assist foreign investors in establishing legal entities, registering the legal entities with the various government departments and institutions, and covering the other legal aspects required of foreign investors. She is also well-versed in property and labor laws. Meggy was involved in revising the system for land and building tax, being a team member leading to the implementation of the new system in 1990, and she has also been involved in other projects with the government of the Republic of Indonesia in revising the nation’s laws and regulations.
