Baudouin Coomans is a Belgian national who has spent most of his nearly 20 years in Asia on matters related to business establishment and development, enlargement strategies, marketing and planning. In 1990, Baudouin came to Indonesia and joined the consulting firm Harvest International, Inc. as an associate. In this capacity he helped major multinationals such as Motorola, Rhone Poulenc, Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, General Motors, Procter & Gamble, Matra, Avon etc. to establish, enlarge or win contracts. He joined Grant Thornton in 2000 as a Division Head. This same company became a Moores Rowland member in April 2003 and in 2004 Baudouin became one of its directors. This company again joined Mazars on January 1, 2009.
Recently Team Leader of the ADB (Asian Development Bank)/Bappenas (National Development Planning Agency-Government of Indonesia) STAR-SDP Project: State Audit Reform-Sector Development Program. This large project is meant to increase capacity and governance of the internal audit board in 33 Indonesian provinces.
Baudouin is a board member of the Indonesian Benelux Chamber of Commerce (INA). He graduated in 1984 as a Bachelor of Science from Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (EPHEC) of Brussels, Belgium and began his career in Europe with Ciba-Geigy and Hilti. Baudouin is fluent in French, Dutch, English, German and Indonesian.
